These Firesurrounds and Overmantles were commisioned from the Woodcarvers Guild by the makers of a multi million dollar budget "Period Drama Television Series."
The Producer wanted to enhance the decor of the Period Scene rooms of the Mansions and Castles used in the filming of the series and he succeeded in that, with these finely detailed carved firemantles/surrounds helped the series becoming one of the most successful series ever.
The Firesurrounds and Overmantles were returned to the Guild Warehouse at the end of filming and are offered for sale at reduced prices.
